Dr. Julia Labadie
Dr. Julia Labadie brings a background in scientific research and clinical medicine to the team. She earned her MSPH in Epidemiology from Emory University before completing a combined DVM/PhD in Epidemiology at Colorado State University.
Prior to returning to clinical practice, Dr. Labadie served as the Scientific Director for the landmark Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, where her research focused heavily on identifying environmental and genetic risk factors for canine lymphoma.
Driven by a desire to bring that deep scientific perspective back to her local community, Dr. Labadie transitioned to clinical practice to make a direct impact on pets and their families. She is passionate about forming strong client relationships and has a special clinical interest in geriatric care, oncology, and evidence-based medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Labadie is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, mountain biking, trail running, skiing, horseback riding, and camping. She shares her home with her husband, young son, two horses, and a dog.
